Salon Operations Installation Help

First, click the Download Free Trial button, to start the download. The Free Trial software is the fully operational version, you simply purchase a license key to go live. You will not have to reinstall the software.



Depending on your Browser, you should be prompted to start the download and run the install.


 

Select Run, to start the process.

Once the installation is downloaded, if your using Windows Vista, you will be asked a security question. Select Allow to start the installation.

Note: Windows Vista will timeout on this screen, so if you walk away, and come back, you may get an error. If this happens, just start the download again.



The installation process will start and take a couple of minutes. During the installation, you will see various screens, such as the one below.



Once the installation is completed, you wil see a new Desktop Icon, to start Salon Operations.



Double click on Salon Operations, and the program will start.

The first screen you will see, is the Splash screen that verifys your database. If you downloaded the demo, and have not purchased a license, you will see a registration pop up.

If you want to try the demo, just click "Cancel, Run in Demo" and you will start the program in Demo mode.




Once you purchase the software, this screen will be used to load your new license and store name. For more information on loading the license key, please see Online Help.
