Customers

Customers

This section is for maintaning your client base. There are several ways to enter your customers, either by entering them in advance using this section, or you can add them on the fly, while booking an appointment or creating a counter ticket.

Address

First, Last Name This is the first and last name of your customer.
Home, Work Other Phone You can enter up to 3 phone numbers for your customer. When searching for a customer by phone, the system will search all three fields.
Address, City, State, Zip Address information
Driver's License Optional information
DOB Date of Birth. The date does not collect the year, because most customers don't like to give out their age.
Gender M or F
Employer Optional information

Preferences

This section lets you track information about your clients, such as skin and hait type.

The user defined fields at the bottom allow you to setup customer fields for your shop. You define the field names in the Setting section, and they will appear here, in this section.

Accounts

 

Individualize account information for your customers.

Allow Checks Allows this customer to use checks
Allow Charge Allows this customer to use credit cards
Tax Exempt Excludes tax for this customer
Client Type You can define a client type for this customer
Credit Limit You can set a maximum credit limit for the customer. This is used for house accounts
Charge Limit You can limit the amount of credit card charges from this customer
Charge Balance House account balance

Appointment

This screen shows you appointment history for this customer.

Referral

 

This section allows you to create a referral for this customer, someone who refered this customer.

A: Select the predefined referral type, then

B: select the customer referring this customer.

D: Click Create Referal and the system will record the referral.

E: The window on the right will show you customers referred by this customer.

Note, you will not see the referal you just created in this customer record, it will be in the referal list for the customer that refered this customer.

 

Summary

This screen provides a summary of appointments and retail sales for this customer.

Notes

This screen provides you with the 4 user defined fields. You can also attach customer pictures to appoinments, and track customer notes.

Notes can be entered as General or Color notes, and you can choose to filter between the two if you like. When printing a customer report, you can select which notes to print, or both.

Marketing
The User Defined fields appear in the Notes section for a customer, when viewed from the Daily Schedule or Quick Add screens. For example, when you are taking an appointment, and you have selected the customer, you can view the Notes section and add marketing information about the customer,such as how they heard about you.
