Can I copy the software and what is the license key for?

You can copy the software for purposes of making backups and for running the software at home or for training purposes. Support will only be provided for your primary store, not for copies you make for running at home or training.

The serial number and license key prevent you from copy the software and using at another store. If you have more than 1 store, you will need to purchase additional licenses for each store and computer. See our web site for details on pricing.

The store name is encrypted in the license key, this prevents copying. If you change the store name, the key will become invalid. If for any reason, you need to change your store name, just contact Grant Park Software, makers of Salon Operations, and we will re-issue you a new key.
