Inventory Setup

In quickbooks, if you are going to use inventory levels, you must turn on inventory tracking in order to create inventory items (as apposed to non-inventory items)

Stock Code is used for Inventory Name

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

customers, export notes
cutomer, current balance
payment info, stuff last CC used
register, transfer cash out to quickbooks, see C:\Program Files\Intuit\QBSDK6.0\samples\xmlfiles\TxnDisplayAdd_Invoice.xml
register, hand transaction to QBMS to charge a CC ./qbms/vb.NET/QBFC/CCCharge/CCCharge.zip

You have to do an InventoryAdjustmentAdd instead of an ItemInventoryMod.

A couple of caveats too:

The QuickBooks company file must be open in single-user mode. (This is also true in the user interface: you cannot adjust the inventory while the company file is open in multi-user mode.)

The inventory adjustment form must be closed in the QuickBooks user interface.

Salon Operations Database Mappings
