We'll start by going over a few informational items to help you
get the most out of your relationship with Grant Park Software.
Couple of quick notes:
- You can always find the latest online help on the web site. If
your viewing this help system on your local computer, you can
click here to view the version online. It
will always have the latest documentation and is updated
frequently.
- Make sure your running the latest version of the software. The
version number can be found on the introductory screen at the top
left,
- You can download the latest upgrade from the web site. The
latest version number is posted on the web site at the left.
Also, you can enable automatic version checking in the
Settings section of the software. This is a good idea to
setup, because we update the software frequently.
Ok, let's get started. The online help is broken down into a
couple of sections. The Table of Contents is displayed on your left
hand side, and will navigate you through the help system. There is
also an Index as
well, and can take you to specific topics.
The first portion of the help topic will explain the options and
features of the section of software. This area of the help file
typically explains the data fields and settings related to the user
input and display screens. The second section of the help topic will
typically explain how to use this section of the software, in terms
of how to operate your salon.
There is also a How Do I? section, which answers
a lot of frequently asked questions. This section is constantly
being updated with questions from you, the customer. If you have a
question about how to use a feature after reading this manual,
please check this page first.
