Tip Management
Settings
| In order to use the tip management, you must enable the
option in your Settings. Go to Settings, select the Register tab, and you
will see options to control the cash register display. |

| This option will enable an additional window on the Cash Out
screen, as show in blue in the picture to the right. You have a few options
to enter tips, in this window, and the tip amount will be added to the total
due for the ticket. If you want to include a tip on the Charge Card, enter
a Charge Tip amount. This will record the tip amount as having been charged,
so you can consolidate your charge card reports, and also provide your
employee with cash from the drawer.
If you want to record a Cash Tip, for example, to
automatically calculate the amount due, enter the amount in the Cash Tip
field. If you are going to hold the cash in the drawer until the end of
the day, select the "Hold Cash In Drawer" check box, and the system will
include this amount in the drawer reports. This option keeps the amount of
cash in the drawer correct, as well as letting you print the employee's
end of the day report with the amount of cash to be paid out in
tips.

| Note: There is a % button next to the Charge Tip box. You
can click this button to bring up the customer tip history, as well as 4
pre-selected tip percentages. |

| When you view the list of Tickets for an employee, for
example when you click the employee header in the daily schedule, you will
also see the tip amounts and any cash payments made from customers. Select Tickets from the schedule adjustments
screen, to view the list of tickets.

| The Charge Tip column will show any tips placed on charge
chards. |
